ToiletTree Oral Irrigator Review and Giveaway

I was recently sent a Professional Oral Irrigator from ToiletTree to review, and my teeth have NEVER FELT BETTER.  The Oral Irrigator uses a pulse of water to help blast out hard to get food particles and bacteria from between your teeth and around your gum line.

I’ve been using the Oral Irrigator twice daily since it arrived, in the morning and in the evening, in addition to brushing and flossing.  The Oral Irrigator helps loosen anything that might be stuck between my teeth before I floss and brush, getting them cleaner than I can with just brushing and flossing alone.

I went to the dentist for my 6 month check-up a week after I started using the Oral Irrigator, and the hygienist was impressed.  She couldn’t believe how clean my teeth were.  I can only imagine how clean they will be in 6 months as I continue to use it!  My hygienist even suggested that I add a little bit of mouthwash (like Listerine) to the water to help kill even more of the bacteria between my teeth.

The Professional Oral Irrigator comes with 2 nozzles so my husband and I are each able to use it.  There are 3 different settings, Normal, Soft and Pulse.  If you have sensitive teeth and gums I recommend starting on soft and slowly moving the speed and pressure up.  My gums aren’t overly sensitive, but I used it on soft the first few times just to get used to it.  Now I do it on Pulse.  If feels GREAT massaging my gums.  The water reservoir is very large, and holds plenty of water and is easy to both fill and empty.  I found that using luke warm water feels the best on my teeth and gums.

The one tip that I will offer is that you want to make sure the oral irrigator is fully in your mouth, and your mouth is closed around it before you turn it on.  Otherwise you might get sprayed with water!
