SavingStar is one of my favorite forms of coupons because they are applied in addition to all of the other savings in a purchase. SavingsStar coupons are completely digital and are connected to your loyalty cards. I have mine connected to CVS, Rite Aid and Kroger, because those are the 3 in my area that are currently part of the SavingStar program. Any time SavingsStar adds new coupons I get both a notice in my email and on the app on my phone. With just a quick click on either one I can choose to add the new coupons to my account. When I shop at one of the stores connected to my SavingsStar account, and I purchase one of the items that I’ve selected, the coupon amount is then added to my account (this can take up to 30 days, but I’ve never had it take that long). Once there is $5 in your SavingStar account you can request your money, either through a Bank Deposit, PayPal or as an Amazon Gift Card.
Here’s an example of how SavingStar works:
Current SavingStar Coupon: Save $1 when you purchase any 2 Scrubbing Bubbles products
Next week, CVS has Scrubbing Bubbles as part of a deal when you buy $12 worth of products you get $4 ECBs. Here’s a sample scenario for next week:
Purchase 2 Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom – $3 each along with 2 more of any of the following: Windex, Fantastik, Shout, Glade Candles, or Glade Sense and Spray Refill (there might be a few other items not shown in the ad) to reach $12 before coupons.
The best deal from this scenario is to purchase 2 Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaners 1 Fantastik 1 Shout cleaners
With this scenario (and the coupons I’ve highlighted) you will pay as little as $8.25 out of pocket, and you will get $4 in ECBs plus $1 in your SavingsStar account. So after all of your coupons and your SavingStar coupon you will have paid $7.25 for the 4 bottles of cleaning supplies ($1.81 each), and you will have $4 for your next trip (or transaction) to CVS!
**FYI, there are other options for this deal, and other coupons available that I will post when I do my CVS round up for next week. This list is simply to show you how you save MORE with SavingStar!
Here are a few of the other current SavingStar coupons (this is not the entire list…just a few of my current favorites!)
